CSM Premium Finance Company works exclusively with Cox Specialty Markets to finance insurance premiums for small to large business and help them budget their insurance costs.
Premium financing allows customers to leverage their insurance assets (unearned portion of premiums) over the coverage term by funding the annual policy premium to the insurance company and extending monthly terms to the insured. Terms typically involve a down payment and up to 9 installments.
We accommodate payments in a variety of ways. Payments by check, faxed checks, electronic debits and payments by phone are all possible.
WHAT IS PREMIUM FINANCE
What is It
Premium financing provides a short term loan for an insured to use specifically to pay for their insurance coverage. The loan provided by the premium finance company pays the insurance premium to the insurance company and bills the individual or company, usually in monthly installments, for the cost of the loan.
The unearned premiums on the insurance policy acts as collateral simplifying the loan application/approval process.
How does premium financing work?

An insured who wants or needs financing to cover a policy signs a finance agreement.

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except to a customer’s insurance representative(s), broker, fiduciary, government or regulatory authority as compelled by law and as otherwise permitted by applicable law in order to process and service your transaction, or as directed by you.
ACCESS TO INFORMATION
We restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information.
If we update our Privacy Policy while your loan in outstanding, we will provide notice to you that such a change has occurred and provide a means by which you may familiarize yourself with our new policy.
